The EvoTools® aluminium oxide fibre disc is the standard consumable in metal fabrication workshops and paint shops, designed for heavy-duty grinding, deburring and fast cleaning operations.
Intended for dry use only, the disc provides an aggressive material removal rate. The vulcanised fibre backing, combined with epoxy resin bonding of the abrasive grains, ensures exceptional resistance to high contact pressure and elevated temperatures, without the disc deforming or prematurely shedding abrasive.
Recommended applications:
- ferrous and non-ferrous metals: grinding and levelling weld seams, removing weld spatter.
- surface preparation: removing heavy layers of rust, old paint, mill scale or oxides from metal parts prior to priming/painting.
- deburring and chamfering: finishing sharp edges after cutting sheet metal or metal profiles.
Must always be used on an angle grinder mounted on a 125 mm backing pad (pad) and firmly secured with a flange nut. Do not use the disc without a backing pad!
